We're hiring an Auto Detailer!
Updated: 5 days ago
Our current Auto Detailer is going off to college! We are so thankful to have had him on the team; our TCG cars were certainly well cared for. This means that we now have an opening for an Autodetailer position.
If you're a driven (pun intended), detail-oriented (pun intended), independent worker who doesn't mind toiling outdoors for a few hours at a time, then this is the position for you! Even better if you have a passion for cars.

Under general supervision, the Auto Detailer is expected to perform a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
Maintain a car maintenance log via Excel
Schedule and drop cars off for oil changes, rotations, and other out-of-house maintenance services
Schedule out-of-house windshield repair
Collaborate with TCG staff to schedule cars for in-house service (general maintenance and/or cleaning)

Keep cars adequately stocked with supplies
Provide detailed interior and exterior car cleaning
Clean TCG garage and storage spaces
Order supplies within a budget
Properly park cars in our parking lot (backed in, in front of the office security cameras)
Wash and maintain equipment used for cleaning
May also be asked to assist with general office maintenance requests (e.g. taking boxes to the recycling center, sweeping out garage floors, tidying up the back alleyway, etc.)
To be considered for this position, the Auto Detailer must have a valid California Driver's license and a clean driving record. This position will be awarded contingent upon our satisfaction with the results of a background check, criminal history check, and reference check(s).
