Project Highlights

Updated: Mar 31

For fifteen years we have been in business, and for approximately ten of those we have been providing Stormwater Management and Inspection services. We've highlighted some of our favorite projects below.

San Francisco Bay Trail

Over 500 miles of the trail now connects the bay area, with paths between San Jose, San Francisco, Richmond, Oakland, and Fremont. We provided Stormwater Management and QSD/QSP services along the Pinole Shores region and prepared the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the project.

It was a Risk Level 2 project adjacent to the bay and restored wetlands, making this an exciting project for our Inspectors. Throughout the construction of parts of the trail, we performed stormwater inspections and monitored the sites during a rain event to ensure that the surrounding areas were unaffected by construction-related pollutants.

With construction complete, we feel proud of having helped protect wetlands and other critical habitats in the bay. Now bay area residents have a safer route to walk along. For more information about this project, click here.

Colfax Truck Climbing Lane

The Interstate 80 Colfax Truck Lanes Project includes widening the shoulders to create a 12-foot wide truck climbing lane on eastbound I-80 in Placer County. This project is more than 66 acres and has lasted for over two years. Widening the road and constructing the climbing lane has required extending 13 culverts, installing 13 precast concrete headwalls, and sealing the interior of thirteen culverts with cast-in-place epoxy.

Tully Consulting Group wrote the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan for this project in May of 2016 and has been providing weekly site inspections, oversite inspection, Water Pollution Control Manager Services as well as Rain Event Inspections and monitoring since the project broke ground.

Breuner Marsh Wetland Restoration

We've also been subcontracted to work on Wetland and Habitat Restoration projects. This project involved restoring coastal wetlands in the Breuner Marsh near Point Pinole.

Napa Creek Village

This project out of Napa includes a sustainable living community. The whole site discharges to underground detention vaults (super cool) and has bioswales, infiltration, and permeable pavement. Units will have solar panels, green infrastructure, and a greywater recycling system. It's anticipated that this development will achieve LEED Platinum.

Projects like these get us excited because we enjoy being a part of sustainable design. We are proud to be their Stormwater Manager and provided them with SWPPP and inspection services. We look forward to seeing more of this type of construction around the globe! Have a project like this? We would love to be a part of it!
