Updated: Mar 31
It's been a couple of months since we've touched base about our #flattenthecurve campaign! We've still been at it behind-the-scenes, and have since had several updates to our policy to adjust with the evolution of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Here's a summary of what we're doing to keep our employees, families, and clients safe:
Reducing the amount of people working in the office and providing a telecommuting option for most employees
Providing adequate sick leave
Writing up policies and procedures to keep both the office and cars properly disinfected and maintained, including daily disinfection and weekly hospital-grade cleaning
Performing symptom and temperature screening upon entry to the building
Wearing facial coverings in the office and maintaining 6-foot distance
Placing several high efficiency filters throughout the office to keep air clean of smoke and hopefully provide some relief from flu/covid-19 exposure
Educating our employees on the policy and providing CDC updates
For our most recent policy, see below for "Coronavirus Preparedness Plan 8-19-20"
We have revised our Coronavirus Preparedness Plan. All employees and visitors must adhere to the following, effectively immediately. For a copy of our Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Plan, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We had a request for more stickers! We've now given away approximately 500 Essential Worker stickers. Our team has given them away to Health Care professionals and even grocery clerks, along with handing them out to construction crews. We're working on ordering custom face coverings for our team.
Some GOOD news - we have sent out nearly 400 Essential Worker stickers! And with that, we are now all out of stickers. There are some left at the office for inspectors to grab, so if you really want one, feel free to ask your inspector! You can still download the graphic for free and use it for your own stickers, email signatures, etc.
You can find that free download here https://www.tullygroup.com/essential-worker-sticker (scroll down to the bottom of the page).
Please stay healthy, my friends!
Every day is changing and we are constantly evolving. Some projects have been closed down with the most recent orders in the Bay area, it's a bit scary. But, so far everything, for the most part, is still going. We feel extremely lucky for the work. THANK YOU to our clients who have been supporting us for years and through this difficult time, we are HERE for you, too.

What is our #stay6feetaway campaign?
We want to spread the message (and not germs) to encourage our Essential Workers friends in the field to #stay6feetaway for their safety and wellbeing. It's important to us that we do what we can to be apart of the solution to this situation.
To thank those Essential Workers in the field and to create even more awareness around the importance of social distancing, we decided to donate 200 stickers (and more on the way) to our clients and those who reached out to us. We are sending these out for free, and with no strings attached.
Want your own stickers or want to download our graphic to use? Go to https://www.tullygroup.com/essential-worker-sticker. We give you permission to use this graphic and use for your business purposes.
We are using Dough Sutherland with D-Sign Graffix to print out our graphics onto stickers that can be used on hard hats. His phone number is (707) 322 - 9694 and website dsigngrafix.com.
What can you do? We are excited to see great minds come together to be apart of the solution in whatever way we can. Let us know what you're doing in the comments!
The seriousness of the COVID-19 outbreak has increased tremendously since the first report in Wuhan, China. The United States has 156,391 cases (as of 3/30/20 2:30 PM), with cases growing every day. Flattening the curve means slowing down the rate of people getting the virus; this is to reduce the number of people that get sick and keep hospitals from getting overburdened. The Shelter-in-Place mandates seem to be working to help!
To help be a part of the solution, we have opted to participate in a #flattenthecurve campaign.
What can we do to #flattenthecurve?
Shelter at Home as much as you can
Cover your coughs and sneezes
Wash your hands often
Avoid touching your face
Implement social distancing (#stayawayfromme)
Stay home if you are sick rather than going out or going to work
Avoid non-essential travel
Avoid other people and groups
What are we doing at Tully Group? The Construction Industry is considered an Essential Service, so we are continuing our Stormwater Inspections. But, we are doing so with high caution and respect for COVID-19. What are we doing to #flattenthecurve?
Encouraging and supporting work from home as much as possible; right now a majority of our staff (and especially those that at higher risk) are working from home
Not sharing equipment or company vehicles
Avoiding in-person interaction with people on-site
Sending employees home when sick
Encouraging good self-care for staying healthy
Encouraging everyone to shelter-in-place, unless on inspections
Disinfecting and cleaning company vehicles
Providing sanitizing supplies in the vehicles and office
Disinfecting and cleaning the office
Giving ample time off and financial help for those that are sick
Using online meeting tools and avoiding non-essential travel
Starting up a ZERO SICK CAMPAIGN to get everyone on board
We applaud our contractors and clients that are also doing their part for keeping their employees safe and implementing work from home and social distancing.
Thank you to our First Responders for putting their lives on the line, to our leaders working tirelessly to fight for us, and for the Essential Workers out there keeping the world going.
We are all in this together. As one, we can #flattenthecurve.
