Description: This Design-Build project started construction in 2009. The 11,000 s.f. building will house an outpatient traumatic brain injury recovery program. Featuring two story, steel framed construction, the building will have a curved clam shell roof, two story rock climbing wall and therapy rooms. Built into a hillside, the second story will open up to parking, while the bottom story will open up to the existing medical buildings. The parking lot work consisted of reconfiguring existing parking to create a new accessible drop-off area and accessible parking spaces in very limited room.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, drop off area, parking, grading, drainage and site utilities.

North Point LLC Light Industrial Shops
Project: North Point LLC Light Industrial Shops

Location: 3180 South Hwy 99 West, Corning, CA
Description: The work included the design of three steel framed metal shop buildings totaling 39,000 s.f. The buildings will offer flex shop space for contractors, with large front and rear roll-up doors. The parking lot will be 45,000 s.f. in size. Offsite improvements included a driveway approach and roadside swale. The 3 acre facility is on private well water with a septic system.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided construction plans for the site improvements including the building grading, parking lot asphalt and concrete paving and drainage. Tully Consulting Group also sized and designed the water, storm drainage and sewer utilities and laid out conduit routings for future electrical and phone service to the new buildings. The site design utilized infiltration trenches and pervious concrete to treat and infiltrate stormwater runoff.

Serrano Drive Parking Lot

Description: This Design-Build project is for a parking lot expansion at a commercial/retail center. The parking lot is shared with the DMV and is on a relatively small lot, so maximization of parking spaces was of great concern.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for the ADA parking, visitor parking, grading, drainage and stormwater BMP’s. Our firm provided different layouts to find one that maximized parking spaces while improving traffic flow. Stormwater BMP’s for the project consisted of low cost vegetated swales along with inlet filters.
Bio-Energy Recovery System (BERS)

Location: Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Brewery, Fairfield, CA
Description: The work included the design and construction of a bio-energy recovery system for the large brewery facility. The system takes brewing wastewater and runs it into a bioreactor. When digested my bacteria, the wastewater releases methane gas. The gas is captured and then in turn utilized in the plant to run boilers and other equipment. The BERS system will provide approximately 15% of the plant’s power needs.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided construction plans for the site grading, drainage and outdoor equipment pads. Our also provided the construction layout of the system components with consisted of several large diameter tanks, a control building, above ground supply pipe racks, a bioreactor, scrubbers, pumps, a biogas flare and chemical feed tanks.
Building 11 Parking Lot & Utilities

Location: Northern California Healthcare System, 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, CA
Description: This Design-Build project will start construction in 2010. With parking of critical concern for the VA, this project will add approximately 9,000 s.f. of parking at the rear of the campus. The project is also to provide utilities for future relocatable office buildings.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for grading and drainage, concrete work, paving and site utilities. Several different parking lot layouts were generated to find options that maximized parking spaces.

Cogeneration Units

Client: Oakwood Athletic Club & Club Sport of San Ramon
Contractor: The DER Group, Benicia, CA
Location: Health Club facilities in Lafayette and San Ramon, CA
Description: The work included the design and construction of cogeneration equipment at two upscale health clubs. The cogen facilities were designed as retrofits to the existing facilities.
Role: Tully Consulting Group provided construction plans for the site grading, drainage and outdoor equipment pads. Our firm was able to provide a quick turnaround in the design to help facilitate the contractor’s fast schedule.
