Jefferson Plaza


Client: Jefferson Investment Corp.

Architect: Dean Unger, AIA, Sacramento, CA

Contractor: Cal West Construction & American Engineering, Sacramento, CA

Location: 3150 Jefferson Blvd, West Sacramento, CA

Description: Completed in 2009, this 5 acre mixed-use commercial site includes a 25,000 s.f. retail center, 4,500 s.f. daycare facility, 4,650 s.f. restaurant, 1,500 s.f. kiosk building and a 28,000 s.f. future office building.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for the entire 5 acre site for pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, parking, grading, drainage and site utilities. Our firm also provided plans for offsite improvements including new City streetlights, curb, gutter and sidewalk and a median turning lane. Additional services included preparation of a Tentative Parcel Map for subdivision into four separate lots.

Syntec Neutraceuticals Facility


Client: Syntec Neutraceuticals, Vacaville, CA

Location: Byrnes Rd, Vacaville, CA

Architect: Tom Bouffard Architect, Vacaville, CA

Contractor: JDS Builders, Winters, CA

Description: The project started construction in 2010 and is for an expansion of the existing manufacturing facility. The new expanded facility will provide for office space for the growing company and a large warehouse/manufacturing shop. The company manufacturers vitamin and nutrient supplementals.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided paving, grading and drainage plans for the new facility. Our firm also provided the design of a stormwater infiltration system.

Lambie Industrial Park Metal Building


Client: Lambie Industrial Park

Location: Lambie Road near Rio Vista, CA

Description: The Design-Build project includes construction of a new steel framed 12,750 s.f. shop building on a 5 acre lot on industrial acreage. The shop building will have room for office/work space and drive-in bays with large roll-up doors. Natural grading was conserved as much as possible to limit grading and sitework costs.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided grading and drainage plans for the new facility.

Robben Road Rock & Recycle Facility


Client: Carquinez Rock & Recycle

Location: Robben Road, Dixon, CA

Description: Carquinez Rock & Recycle operates a yard in the Bay area where they recycle concrete into road base. Due to mounting environmental and government permit issues, the owner wanted to relocate to the valley area. The site design included a large stockpile area for the incoming concrete and for the crushed recycled aggregate. A sizeable detention pond will be located in the stockpile area for stormwater treatment and detention.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided SWPPP services and grading and drainage plans for the rock and recycle yard. Our firm sized and the designed the detention pond and provided cost effective stormwater protection recommendations within in the SWPPP to control dust, sediment and erosion.

Midway Road Trucking Facility


Client: Button Transportation

Architect: Tom Bouffard Architect, Vacaville, CA

Location: Midway Road, Dixon, CA

Project: This project is for a new trucking facility headquarters for Button Transportation. The site is on 40 acres and is close to the busy I80 corridor. The building will be of steel frame construction with 30,000 s.f. of shop space and an attached 10,000 s.f. two story office. The shop facility will have drive through bays for truck cleaning and maintenance. An outdoor fueling station will also be constructed as part of the project. The facility will be on private well water with a septic system.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided SWPPP services and improvement plans for pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, parking, grading, drainage and site utilities including a well and septic system. Our firm also provided consulting support for a Tentative Parcel Map application.

Rick's Auto Spa


Client: 1st Key Management

Architect: Tom Bouffard Architect, Vacaville, CA

Contractor: Bell Brothers, Vacaville, CA

Location: McCoy Drive, Suisun City, CA

Description: This project is for a new car wash and retail facility. The site features civil green-design principles. The stormwater runoff will be treated on-site via a combination of inlet filters and grassy swales. The car wash facility will feature a reclaimed water system; rinse water will be collected in an underground vault and then treated for re-use in the washing stations. This project was designed in 2008.

Texas Corners Commercial Shopping Center


Client: Mandarin Restaurant

Architect: Tom Bouffard Architect, Vacaville, CA

Contractor: Bell Brothers, Vacaville, CA

Location: North Texas St., Fairfield, CA

Description: Designed in 2007, this 5,900 s.f. commercial building has 5 individual suites for food and retail tenants. The design includes a decorative concrete patio for outdoor seating capabilities and a dressy storefront for the high visibility project.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for the pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, parking, grading, drainage, stormwater BMP's and site utilities. Our firm also provided plans for public improvements such as new curb, gutter and sidewalk and street lights.

New Storage Facility


Client: Paradise Valley Estates, Fairfield, CA

Architect: Tom Bouffard Architect, Vacaville, CA

Contractor: JDS Builders, Winters, CA

Location: Paradise Valley Drive, Fairfield, CA

Description: The new storage facility is located within the private retirement community. The building is designed to blend into the surrounding homes by matching the architecture and preserving surrounding trees.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for the pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, grading, drainage and site utilities. Our firm also provided a FEMA flood elevation certificate to establish the finished floor above the 100-year base flood elevation.

Camino Oruga Three Shell Warehouses


Client: CDCS Inc.

Architect: Leo McGlade & Associates, Sacramento, CA

Contractor: Shaw Construction, Vacaville, CA

Location: 152, 156 and 164 Camino Oruga Blvd, Napa, CA

Description: Completed in 2008, the project includes two concrete tilt-up warehouse buildings and room for a future third building. On light industrial acreage, the flex space buildings have separate offices in the front and shop space in the back with large roll-up doors. One building offers a depressed loading dock. The buildings are ideal for wine related industries as either storage or manufacturing space. One building is 12,500 s.f. and one is 15,000 s.f. The existing middle building can be expanded to 9,900 s.f.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided plans for the entire 3 acre site for pad preparation, paving, ADA site access, parking, grading, drainage, stormwater BMP's and site utilities. With budget a big concern for the owner, our firm worked to minimize the amount of retaining walls and earthwork needed to overcome some existing grade issues. Additional services included preparation of a Tentative Parcel Map for subdivision into three separate lots.

Deer Creek Maintenance Building


Client: El Dorado Irrigation District

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Description: The El Dorado Irrigation District operates an extensive network of water and wastewater pipelines and lift stations in El Dorado County. The District also operates wastewater treatment plants and several powerhouses. The new maintenance building was designed as a facility for in-house maintenance of pumps and equipment. The steel structure has large roll-up doors, an office area and a shop with thickened slab floors to accommodate heavy forklift loads.

Role: Tully Consulting Group provided paving, grading and drainage plans for the new facility.
